Goonswarm went wrong when they started treating everyone outside their own little cliche as idiots to be laughed at.
Now they will be harassed, griefed and abused constantly ingame through pvp as a result.
I've spoken to a fair few goons who have contacted me and been entirely cool dudes and it's unfortunate that they missed the lessons learnt by all of us as we progressed through eve.
Coming in late into the game has meant that the goons have missed the responsibility that comes with being a 0.0 alliance.
Historically, in eve, wars have been fought over a single incorrect comment to the wrong person. This is why most 0.0 alliances have control of their members. They understand that in order to hold space you need to be respectful of everyone else in eve or you will run into trouble.
Goonfleet have come into 0.0 and made the exact mistakes that everyone else has.... only we did it 2 years ago and learnt from our mistakes.
Now they find themselves with nothing but NPC stations and no 0.0 industrial base.
They believe this is funny due to their complete and utter lack of any foresight into the game, they live for the here and now with no regards to the future.
And of course that is perfectly fun way to play... if you don't want to have any 0.0 industrial base in the future.
Personally, if I was GoonSwarm, I would be waking up to the realisation that regardless of my big words about how they do what they want and play how they want and have lots of fun, they are still going to be dictated how they play by other alliances in 0.0 space.
And that's the beauty of eve.

Then you didn't read it very clearly.
We've evolved into one of the biggest t2 producers, most extensive R&D corps and are part of the number 1 pvp alliance in the game.
Tearing down alliances is only a small part of the fun we nurture in this game.
But then I'd expect nothing but misunderstanding from a lame alt who hasn't been in a corp or alliance.

I can't decide what is greater at this point:
- your ignorance of our background.
- your hate of our alliance.
- your distance from the topic.
Either way, take your BoB hating into a clean thread and leave this one for a discussion of the goons as per OP.

How would you know what the goons think, thunk?
Are you a goon? If so, why aren't you in GoonSwarm actually doing something about it, instead of being in a "hauling and mining" alliance.

Indeed, and to those in goonswarm who say "we're too big to deal with our troublemakers", I can only give the option of the biggest alliance in the game - ascn.
They seem to manage their team just fine.
But then I guess it makes a difference when you have a real leader in place.

My conclusions are largely borne from the mixed messages received from BoB and the various reasons as to why this is going on. Myself, I blame the source material. You could of course do something about it and instead ensure all your members sing from the same hymm sheet. In the meantime I guess you'll just have to accept responsibility for your rogue elements even if this doesn't always involve war.
Perhaps you should stick to statistics DB Preacher, it appears to be where your strength lies.

What mixed messages? What Rogue Elements? Your conclusions are made up from thin air based on having, self professed, no part in this war, no contact with any BoB management, no contact with GoonSwarm and no clue.
Our members don't need a hymn sheet to know where they are, what they are shooting at and why they are doing it.
If anyone needs anything, it's you.. you need a map to try and trace back your circular arguments to the root of your issues.

The point here is that you are talking garbage about a war you know nothing about except for what brief details have been posted on the forums, are not involved in and have no clue about the reasons for.
You made your response to the OP and now you are simply BoB bashing really badly because you don't have a factual leg to stand on.
And just to clarify something, we don't need to justify our war to anyone in eve, least of all a lame ass alt who hides his true identity in a hauling and mining alliance.
The only thing that I ponder is whether you are just another lame ass aneu alt. You sure sound like one.
